Why the Sentinel?

We believe we have identified a communication need. Residents of Toquerville have had no quick or reliable way of finding out what was going on in our community. Word of mouth and a story here or there was about all we had.

Toquerville City records meetings and presents them on the city website. While that is useful, trying to review two hours of video can be cumbersome and time consuming.

Our community is changing. If you live here, then you qualify as a stakeholder. We’d like to reach out to our fellow citizens and exchange information in a quick and concise way.

Residents will rotate through council meetings. We are going to report on some of the more significant issues and decisions being made at City Hall.
